The waves all break on the rocks and sand
And then go back to the ocean;
As I sit there and feel the water-spray,
I yearn to join the ocean.
The incessant movement of water
Reminds me of fluidity of time;
Tired was I of struggling each day,
When I heard the call of the ocean.
My day has come and I must go,
Leaving behind all that hurt me once;
I will float away and be gone from here,
Carried gently by the ocean.

Superb poetry Ayesha. I wonder how you come up with expressing so many different emotions in your poems. You have beautifully expressed here how one yearns for being carried aways by the ocean, as one is tired and hurt. Your words heal Ayesha. I believe God loves you in a very special way. A word of advice as a friend: even if you ever feel overwhelmed by pain and hurt, trust God's love for you. Cheers.

The ocean brings to my mind the divine,the sublime,the vastness,the fear and the beauty all at once. It leaves me chastened and happy. Ayesha writes exceedingly well compressing her thoughts in short and sweet poems

Nice one. I will use the opportunity on a beach differenlty. Like a wave I will be on the move and seek solace from the tireless wave to sooth my tired body and mind. Regards.RP
