The little things of life all add up
To give the full experience
And we learn to build or to break,
Based on what we choose to have.
Small acts are not small at all
For they hurt us or they heal wounds.
A small word is often an act of love
Or a stab of pain.
A soft smile on the parting lips
Or a hand reaching out
To hold,
When many just go by without a glance,
Often make us know life,
And, we dare live again.

Beautifully written poem with lovely words carefully chosen to create a sense of awareness about little things which we very often ignore at our own cost and peril.
How many times we have forgotten to smile at people, how many times we neglected to say thank you, how many times we have been rude to people, how many times we have slighted people to satisfy our ego, how many times we forgot to do little acts of charity, how many times we refused to help people because we were too busy with our own lives.
If we take care of THE LITTLE THINGS OF LIFE we will be able to build a lasting relationship, love and affection.
If fact, come to think of it, THE LITTLE THINGS OF LIFE will make us a grand success.
