Trust and Healing

Why is it that when in pain due to the cruel or indifferent behaviour of others, we look for comfort in the companionship of someone we trust? It is because, it is human nature to trust and love. If someone has hurt us, someone else will appear and he/she will help us heal. Such is life. Such is the power of love.

May healing and love wash away all pain that any reader of this post might be feeling.

This world is like a transit lounge as in a railway station. So many come come and so many go in our lives. There will always be some to bestow love and care at any point of time.Your post has brought out this message nicely

Yes, Appa. Many come and go. Some stay in our hearts; in other cases, we are happy they have gone.

All said and done, it is He who sents people to us. All of us are His hands. Those who are kind, choose to be His agents of kindness. Those who are cruel, choose to be His agents of punishment or patience.

I call Him Krishna.

Thank you for your comment, Appa :)

When one window closes the other one opens automatically bringing in a fresh breath of air. Guess people are like that. When one turns their back on you when you need them the most, there are others who welcome you with open arms. Great Post Ayesha!!

I would say both go hand in hand..If someone would not have hurt you, you would never realized the value of "love". I am not saying someone must hurt you to realize love :(, but i mean that's the reality. And the inherent behavior of human being to look for companionship, love no one is born criminal...it is circumstances that made us different :(

Hi Swetha,

Very true. Such is life and we need to focus more on what we are getting than on what we have lost.

Thank you very much for your continuing encouragement.

Best wishes :)

Hi Mustaf!

That's a very thought-provoking comment. Thanks a lot :) Yes, perhaps we appreciate love and kindness better when we go through injustice first.

Circumstances do have an effect on us. But, I personally think that how we react to circumstances is more important.

Two children coming from the same family, having the same cruel parent, can grow up to be very dissimilar adults.

One sibling is kind and understanding. He says that he knows how much cruelty hurts because he was treated cruelly; so he is never cruel to anyone.

The other sibling becomes cruel saying that his father/mother was cruel to him; so, according to him, cruelty is the way of life.

Best wishes to you, friend. Have a nice day :)
