Thy Will be done

When in life, we are confused,
May we turn to God and say:
'Thy Will be done.'
If we suffer heart-breaks and
Know not the reasons,
It helps if we cry out to Him:
'Thy Will be done.'
Every day of this life, may we
Walk with Him and see His Hand
Equally there in joy and pain;
In death as much as in life,
May we have the faith to say with trust:
'My kindest Lord and dearest Friend,
Thy Will be done.'

(The line, "Thy Will be done", is from the traditional Christian prayer popularly called The Lord's Prayer)

I am happy you are back at doing what you do best, writing poems.Your poems leave the readers touched with various kinds of emotions depending on the theme dealt with. One thing also stands out prominently in most of your posts-your unwavering faith in and total surrender to God.These qualities are hard to come by these days when worship of Mammon is the prime occupation.

Thank you, Parthasarathi for your kind comment.

In my life I have seen that God is the only absolute constant. If there are some other constants as well, they are there only because God has given them to me, as grace.

Since God rules all, and God is always with us, in the real sense nothing is lost; in the long-run, we understand this.

May you have a happy time :)

The title is the one and only medicine that can help to reduce any agony.. to me reading this was like being reminded that whatever pain i go thru now will be gone... if i just leave it to God.. let his will be done... OH!!! isnt it so refreshing to realize that leaving things in Gods hands is the best thing one can do!!! Thanks a million Ayesha.
