A Celebration of Love

Every now and then I reach out to you
Wanting to feel your loving hand;
To some, I appear a fool, perhaps,
But I neither live nor die without you.
The smiling eyes, the touching words,
Have all stayed within my soul;
If today, you seem like snow, my love,
Turn to life-giving water, once more.
The beauty of my life has been
In loving you and celebrating love;
Hold my hand, once more, my love,
For that is all I want; my cosmos is in you.

Hey Shravan,

Thanks a lot :) Yes, the poem came straight from my heart. When you love a person to that extent, that person becomes the reason for you to stay alive.

Getting or not getting someone at the social level is luck. The essence of love is in loving and only loving.

God bless... :)

Wow! Lovely...thanks for making us to join in your celebration :-)

Also loved your explanation to shravan. Shree Krishna likes people who celebrate life, joyfully.

Cheers!

Hi Manivannan,

Thank you so much for your appreciative comment mentioning Shree Krishna.

You are right, He loves happiness. He is 'sat chit aanand' and because He has given us qualities from Himself, as individual jeev-souls, we are also 'sat chit aanand' deep within us.

May happiness walk with you :)

Hi Deeps,

Thanks you for your apreciative comment. At some points in life, words might fail, as you have correctly stated.

Some words, however, leave a lasting impression.
