As I wait for things to change,
I know they will.
As I wait for pain to go,
I feel it will.

My wait is based on trust, on love
Greater than other feelings in me;
In God’s own time my wait will end
And you will be with me.

A good one..! It is always good to express our feelings then live like a introvert. may be some of our expressed thoughts can become medicines for some one...that's what is the power of words. regards.

The pangs of love have been brought out very well in this short and sweet verse.

It'a a beautiful poem. There's just one thing I didn't understand: is the person who is being waited for dead or far away?

Dear Shreya,
He is far away in terms of geographical space and time.
